2019 Clark Hot Air Balloon Festival

International Hot Air Show that began in 1994 as a may to revitalize the region following the 1991 eruption of Mount Pinatubo. 21 balloons from 10 different countries joined the first fiesta, but it has since turned into a more general aviation show filled with aerobatic exhibitions, formation flying, and other stunts.

The gates open at 4am and many arrive well before that to avoid the queues—so be prepared for an early start! The balloons begin to set off at around 6:30pm and return at 5:30pm, weather conditions permitting. You can also enjoy the “Night Glow” event on Saturday and Sunday night where the hot air balloons are tethered together and lit, usually with music playing in the background.

Tickets can be purchased through the official online portal which is open from mid-December until the end of January (they can also be purchased on the day). You can by tickets to ride in the hot air balloons through the same portal, with prices at around $350 for a 20-45 minutes ride.

2018 Lubao International Hotair Balloon Festival

Now going on its 5th year, the blue skies of Lubao, Pampanga will once again be painted with around thirty (30) hot air balloons from all over the world. A magnificent array of colorful balloons will delight guests in the morning, while wonderful music from an exciting artist lineup during the concert will surely make another one of a kind spectacle.

Lubao International hotair balloon festival in Lubao Pampanga, Philippines. The festival is the biggest annual hot air balloon festival in Southeast Asia. The event is organized by Pilipinas International Balloon Festival, Inc. (PIBF) in cooperation with the Arts, Culture and Tourism Office of Pampanga (ACTO) and with support from Provincial Government of Pampanga.

22nd Clark Hot Air Balloon Fiesta Schedule of Activities

Please note that all flying activities are dependent on favorable weather conditions for the safety of guests and crew.

Open gates and National Anthem
Rise and shine early in the day so you can get your preferred spot to watch the festivities! We’re expecting lots of people to experience the fun Fiesta, so please be prepared to stand in line while waiting to go inside.

When gates open at 4AM, staff will verify your tickets and security personnel will check packages being brought in. Once inside, you can already visit the Fly Fiesta, have snacks at the food stalls, have sunrise selfies, and watch the hot air balloons being inflated.

Guests who bought Hot Air Balloon Ride tickets will enter the launch area. They can chat with the pilots as they prepare for their flights! VIP ticket holders will also be able to enter the balloon launch patio and the air-conditioned lounge.

Shortly after gates open, the Philippine Flag will be flown as the sun rises.

Morning Hot Air Balloon Flights
Get your cameras ready! If wind conditions are favorable, the hot air balloons lift off around 5:30-6AM.

Guests who bought Hot Air Balloon Ride tickets will be soaring high in their balloons!

Guests who purchased pre-nup photo shoot passes will be in the designated area at this time.

A full day of activities
It’s the Weekend of Everything that Flies! Paragliders, skydivers, radio controlled aircraft, dancing kites, and other aerial exhibitions will be taking turns in the sky. Don’t worry about aviation terms. Our hosts will explain them to you.

Guests who bought tickets for skydiving, paragliding, and aircraft flights will be enjoying their rides. VIP ticket holders can stay inside the air-conditioned lounge.

Meanwhile, on the ground, there’s lots to do! Try your hand at Oculus Archery or have fun with the animals at the Zoocobia booth. Fly kites. Go on a food trip at the food trucks and stalls. Visit exhibitors’ booths and you might win in their raffles and contests!

As we enjoy the Fiesta, please remember to keep the Fiesta grounds clean. Please do not litter. Let us throw trash in the proper places.

Note: Drones are not allowed during the Fiesta as it is an active airfield. Similarly, hoverboards are not allowed in the Fiesta grounds for the safety of our guests. Thank you.

Afternoon Hot Air Balloons Flights
The hot air balloons fly in around 5PM if that wind conditions are favorable.

On Feb 10 and 11, if wind conditions are favorable, the hot air balloons will be lighting up the evening sky at the Night Glow!

Grounds Close at 8PM
You can enjoy the grounds until 8PM. Camping in the Fiesta grounds after 8PM is not allowed. Please clean as you go and throw the trash in the designated places. Thank you!

2018 Clark Hot Air Balloon Ticket Price

22nd Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta is on February 8-11, 2018 at Clark, Pampanga. Four days jam-packed with spectacular flying exhibitions and on-the-ground fun to experience friends and family!

Ride tickets will be available at the gates while slot availability lasts.
Ride ticket prices do not include entrance fees. You’ll need to purchase a separate entrance ticket.




  • General Admission - PhP 500 per person per Fiesta day
  • VIP Passes - PhP 6,000 per person per Fiesta day
  • Hot Air Balloon Rides - US$ 350 per person per ride
  • Tandem Skydiving- US$ 400 per person per jump

  • Airplane Discovery Flights - US$ 150 per person per ride
